The South Branch Library hosts Toddler Time on Tuesdays from 10-10:30 AM & 11-11:30 AM, Baby Story Time on Thursdays from 9:30-10 AM, and Story Time on Thursdays from 11-11:30 AM. 

The Story Time Assistant provides support to the Librarian by counting the number of attendees and ensuring that attendance stays within the room's maximum capacity limit.

The North Branch Library hosts 1, 2, 3 Play with Me, a 5-week preschool playgroup designed for young children and caregivers to explore various literacy, art, and play hands-on activities.   The Story Time Assistant provides support to the Librarian by helping set up and clean up the preschool activity stations, checking reservation lists, and ensuring that attendance stays within the room's maximum capacity limit.  StoryTime Assistants should report to the program 1 hour before the program starts to assist with setting up activity stations.

This volunteer will assist with shelving library materials, straightening shelves, dusting and other shelf maintenance tasks. The Getting Started session will include a tour of the collections, training on how to shelve books, and shelving rules.  This session is required in order to be a shelving assistant.

Assist with deep cleaning the Baby Garden area to make it sanitary for small children to play in. This may involve crawling around on the floor, vacuuming, mopping, or other sanitizing tasks using disinfecting wipes and cleaners.

This volunteer will assist with the "Haunted Halloween Tote Bags" class at the North Branch Library.  They will help set up and clean-up the program and assist customers with activities during the program. Volunteers are asked to report to the library 30 minutes before the program starts. This class is on Monday, October 13, from 4:30-6pm.

This volunteer will assist with a special tour of The Forge Makerspace at the North Branch Library.  They will help set up and clean-up the program and assist customers with activities during the program. Volunteers are asked to report to the library 30 minutes before the program starts.
