The North Branch Library hosts Toddler Time on Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 AM.  The Toddler Time Assistant provides support to the Librarian by counting the number of attendees and ensuring that attendance stays within the room's maximum capacity limit and helps with cleaning up after the program.  Toddler Time Assistants should report to the program 10 minutes before the program starts.

In order to volunteer with the Denton Public Library, you must first pass a criminal background check. Please reach out to a volunteer coordinator if you have not yet completed one.

Assist with various tasks around the library to straighten, tidy, and maintain library appearance. Tasks include cut scrap paper, refill scratch paper/pencil trays, water plants, pick up stray books, push in chairs, wipe table tops clean, change signage, etc.

Help with the Dino Discovery Sensory Play program at the North Branch Library on June 15 from 10:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Assist with hands-on sensory bins for children and families along with set up /clean up for the program.  All activities will have instructions provided.

Assist with deep cleaning the Baby Garden area to make it sanitary for small children to play in. This may involve crawling around on the floor, vacuuming, mopping, or other sanitizing tasks using disinfecting wipes and cleaners.
