Volunteer: North Branch - Program Assisant - Tour of The Forge

This volunteer will assist with a special tour of The Forge Makerspace at the North Branch Library.  They will help set up and clean-up the program and assist customers with activities during the program. Volunteers are asked to report to the library 30 minutes before the program starts.


To volunteer with the Denton Public Library, you must first pass a criminal background check. Please reach out to a volunteer coordinator if you have not yet completed one.

Volunteer: Clear Creek Arbor Day Tree Planting by HEB

Celebrate and support urban forestry efforts in Denton by planting trees on Texas Arbor Day! This is a morning opportunity that moves quickly and you'll leave having planted several trees for current and future residents to enjoy.

Come ready to plant 1,000 trees at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, 3310 Collins Road, Denton, Texas.  Wear long sleeves, long pants, and a pair of gloves.  Must have the ability to walk on uneven terrain
