Leave No Trace Spotlight at Clear Creek

Leave No Trace hand-selects nominated outdoor spaces that need collective care and attention. By designating them as Spotlights, our local community has been called to step up, join forces with Leave No Trace, and make a meaningful impact that can revitalize and protect these special places where we recreate, enjoy one another’s company, and elevate our health physically, mentally and emotionally.

Clear Creek Natural Heritage Area has been selected as a 2024 Leave No Trace Spotlight. The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Area January 25-27, collaborating with hosts and partners on a variety of programs including stewardship projects, workshops, and community outreach.

Description

Give back to Clear Creek Natural Heritage Area by volunteering to remove trash and improve trails, etc. Participants must be able to walk/hike on uneven terrain. Volunteers must dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
